Below are free secondary history teaching resources for teachers in UK schools at KS3 and KS4 level to help you save time spent on lesson planning. Key Stage 3

Kids can learn about Scottish History on the LTS Scotland website.

The Ancient Egypt site is for 7 to 13 year olds and has a range of info on historical figures, the architecture and artifacts.

Zoom in on Ancient Rome in 3D with Google Earth's tour of the famous buildings.

Key Stage 4

The BBC World War One resource is a large collection of newspaper articles from the time of the war.

The government run Learning Curve site is a resource for Key Stage 1 through through to 5 and includes national archives in print, audio and film.

The British Museum Ancient Civilizations site has sections on religion, cities, writings, buildings and much more.
